Presentation of program results – Tallinn, 12 and 13 October 2017

 

The president and CEO of Advanced Planning-Consulting (APC SA), Nikos Anagnopoulos, was present at the conference "Beyond 2020: Supporting EU Coastal Communities", which took place in Tallinn, Estonia, on 12 and 13 October 2017. Nikos Anagnopoulos was among the speakers, taking part in the debate on "Supporting the participation of small-scale coastal fishermen in the advisory and decision-making processes of the common fisheries policy (CFP): Roundtable on the results of a European parliament pilot project".

Anagnopoulos’ presentation had to do with the EastMed Fishers project – “Measures to support Small-scale fisheries in the EU Eastern Mediterranean Waters”. Nikos Anagnopoulos illustrated the timetable, the methodology which was used, the difficulties and the results of the implemented project, as also proposed specific ideas for future actions.
